The Amherst Schools Special Olympics Program is excited to announce the beginning of our third year. It is open to all Special Needs students, ages 8 through high school, who are unable to participate in traditional school sports and fit the criteria set forth by the Special Olympics. The athletes must attend Amherst Schools or live in the Amherst School District.

Some of the upcoming activities planned for our Special Olympians include, Bowling, Swimming, Fitness program, Cornhole Tournament, Basketball, Cheerleading, Softball and Track.

The Amherst Special Olympics program relies solely on the generosity of the community through fund-raising and donations. There is no cost for our athletes to participate!
