Effective, beginning with the 2010-11 school year, and every year thereafter, all students entering Grade 7 will be required to receive one dose of Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis).
This dose is administered as a booster dose, not as part of the initial series of vaccines typically given prior to Kindergarten. Proof of receipt of this immunization must be provided to Amherst Jr. High school within 14 days of the first day of school.
