2013-04-26The Nord Student Council collected 15,109 pencils, sharpeners and erasers for "The Pencil Project". These supplies were mailed to a disadvantaged school in Flint, MI and to rural schools in Uganda. Thanks to Bendix Corp. in Elyria and the Amherst Eagles for their monetary donations to cover the cost of postage. Additional postage donations will be gladly accepted as Student Council still has more pencils ready to be shipped.View
2013-04-22Students from the Mullen, Henry, Flock and Lehman team enjoy a ride on a camel during their trip to the Great Lakes Science Center while learning more about Egypt.View
2013-04-17The Beetler, Hermensky and Homolya students that received 20+ objectives mastered in Accelerated Math for the third nine weeks went to the Turnpike Plaza as a reward for their excellent work habits.View
2013-04-11Mrs. Engle's class was learning about simple machines and raced mousetrap race cars on April 10, 2013 in the lobby of Nord Middle School.View
2013-04-04The Funderbury, Kinser, Morrison, and Stevens team were pen pals with Captain Eric Scheibe in the USMC in Afghanistan. He has sent a flag, certificate of recognition for support and encouragement. The students and Captain Scheibe have been exchanging emails and letters throughout the school year.View

March 14, 2012: Our Nord Advanced Math students did very well at the Math Mania competition at LCCC on March 9. The fifth and sixth grade teams placed second in Techno Math. Sixth graders Jessica B. placed second, Emily G. placed third, and Rhyan O. placed fourth (pictured above). Fifth graders Breanna C. took first place and Olivia P. took third place (pictured below)
