ACT Practice Test
Any student interested in the ACT Practice Testing that is sponsored by the Educational Service Center of Lorain County should see Ms. Wohlever in room 136 to pick up registration materials. This year's practice test is Saturday, March 14, from 8:30 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the ESC in Elyria. There is a fee of $30 (payable to the ESCLC) for this activity. Checks and registration forms must be returned to Ms. Wohlever, Mr. Novotny, or Mrs. Obbey by Friday, February 27, in order for the ESC to have enough time to order testing materials for the March 14 session. Parents, if you would like more information, please encourage your child to bring home the registration materials, as they contain more details, including the benefits of taking the practice test at this age level.

Emergency Text Messaging - Next Steps

Several weeks ago we began collecting guardian cell phone numbers as the first step in the process to offer emergency SMS text messages. We are now ready to begin step 2, which is having guardians opt in to receive these messages.

1. If you have not already filled out the form to have your cell phone on file, please click here for the link to do so.

If the school did not have your cell phone number on file and added it, wait at least 24 hours before proceeding to the next step.

2. From your cell phone, text the word "JOIN" to the number 56360.

If our messaging system finds a match for your number in its database, you will receive a confirmation message thanking you for joining school alerts.

At anytime you can unsubscribe by texting Stop to 56360.

3. Create a contact on your phone for the district with the phone number 56360. Then, when you receive a text from this number you know will who is sending it.
