Make-Up Day
This is just a reminder that school will be in session on Monday, April 21st. Originally, this was scheduled to be an in-service day, but the day is now being utilized to make-up one of our calamity days. Thank you and enjoy the three day holiday weekend!
An Open House will be held Sunday, April 27, at the Steele High School football field house for any boy interested in playing Comet football next year.  Parents are encouraged to attend. It is a chance to meet Coach Fishleigh and the rest of the Amherst coaches and to learn more about the football program and the upcoming season.  Seventh and eighth grade football will be discussed at 6:15, and ninth grade football will be addressed at 6:45.
Softball Schedule Update
The Tuesday, April 15 at Avon Lake-Learwood has been postponed.  No make up date has been determined at this time. The team will practice today until 4:30. The Monday, April 14 game with Westlake has been postponed. No make up date has been determined at this time. An updated schedule reflecting all make up dates can be accessed at AJH's SOFTBALL website.

Commencement will occur as scheduled. Seniors must report on April 21. Please select the link for the revised 2013-2014 school calendar as approved by the Board of Education.
