2010-04-16April 16th, 2010 - Members of the AJH Science Olympiad team are ready to board the bus headed for Columbus for the Science Olympiad competition this weekend. The team is coached by Mr. and Mrs. Kordeleski, science teachers at Amherst Junior High.View

2010-03-05From left to right:  Jarod Abfall, Zack Bires, Benny Gonzalez, Nikki Platz, Bryan Genauldi, Jeremie Leclerc, Ali Zahorec, Andrea Hama, Brianna Bynum, and Anthony Leyva. These students come in over their lunch study hall and have created a workable recycling system for clay in the ceramics art room.  They have to date saved the school about $150 with their ingenuity and hard work. By the end of the year Mrs. Balukas estimates that the savings to the school will be around $500. The system they have created will stay in effect for coming years saving the school innumerable future dollars. The students have shown themselves to be responsible and entrepreneurial.View
